This web site is now established in its new, more-stable and more-reliable home, hosted by WordPress, and has a new URL – https://new-swaag.org. Please bookmark it or save it in Favourites to find it more easily in future.
The content is still being developed towards its intended objective of becoming the full replacement for the original SWAAG website, which still resides at https://swaag.org. Anything not found here is awaiting transfer and, in the meantime, will still be found at the original website.
The most recent additions to this intended-replacement website are the completion of the reports under the main menu heading Talks, which now go as far back as 2017, and the creation of a new menu heading Learning, which includes a broad range of reports on one-off events to do with promoting the better knowledge and understanding of archaeology, history, heritage, geology, and the natural environment, among SWAAG members and in the local community.
Also, the section on the Hagg site investigations, here Hagg Farm, has been expanded to include photographs and information about our community engagements with young people and especially with local schools.
