The matt surface of a clear pond, with a dull view of its base of broken brown reeds and green grasses, is pierced by the glossy heads of seven frogs, all seemingly engaged in synchronised swimming. All but one laggard is facing towards the left shoulder of the photographer, and all look like clones of each other.
